Are you ready to be part of something groundbreaking? At IQM, we're at the forefront of the next technological frontier, and we're looking for a Software Infrastructure engineer.
In order to use quantum computer hardware, we need a server to manage communications between users and the quantum computer. IQM has a state-of-the-art QPU (quantum processing unit), and we need Software Infrastructure engineers to ensure our software meets our customers' requirements. As a Software Infrastructure engineer, you will plan and solve tasks related to building, improving, and monitoring our CI/CD tools as a valued member of the DevOps team. You will succeed in this role if you have experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices, and a willingness to share and learn.
We are looking for someone who possesses most of the following skills:
- Solid experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab CI).
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Python and Bash
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, is a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of container building and orchestration tools such as Docker and Docker Compose. Kubernetes knowledge is a plus, but not a technology we utilize in this role
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Understanding of release management principles
- Knowledge of and interest in software security and controls.
- An opportunity to work with a passionate and diverse team on an important mission
- A unique opportunity to make a real impact on the future of quantum
- Growth and progress in a creative and open start-up environment
We'll proceed with the interviews immediately, so please submit your application soon.
Please note that only applications submitted through the website will be processed.
