Role
Our team is seeking a Mid-level Test Engineer to help ensure the success of our API and Enterprise applications and services by automating the testing process using modern testing methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate will advocate for QA best practices while delivering top-notch products that offer an exceptional user experience.
Your Day
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing to identify and report bugs, ensuring that the application meets requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and pytest.
- Implement and manage the Page Object Model (POM) for scalable and maintainable test automation.
- Develop API automation tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of backend services.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that automated tests might miss.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Work with DevOps to enhance continuous integration processes.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear and concise descriptions.
- Monitor test results and provide feedback to the development team for immediate resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Experience with Python, Selenium, and API testing
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
- Good understanding of POM
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Understanding of agile processes from a quality perspective
- Good communication skills in English and Armenian
