DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - Regensburg

We represent a client who are a high-tech German engineering company that develops and manufactures optical measurement (metrology) and defect inspection solutions for the semiconductor and microelectronics industries.

Role:

• Setup, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
• Management and continuous improvement of Git and GitLab-based workflows
• Automation of build, test, and deployment processes (including PowerShell and Bash)
• Support in integrating applications and services into existing DevOps infrastructure
• Analysis and troubleshooting of issues in build, release, and deployment processes
• Close collaboration with development teams to improve development and release processes
• Contribution to the standardization and documentation of DevOps processes
• Support in the development and maintenance of software components in C#, C++, Python, and other technologies
• Administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux systems used in software development

Skills:

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) in application development or system integration, or a comparable qualification or relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge of Git
• Hands-on experience with GitLab
• Strong expertise in CI/CD
• Good programming skills in .NET (C#) and C++
• Experience working with Windows and Linux systems
• Experience with automation, build, and deployment processes
• Experience with the Visual Studio build environment
• Analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and strong problem-solving skills
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Independent and responsible working style
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
