System Administrator

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid – 3 days onsite: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and support enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, including SolarWinds Orion, Splunk, and Dynatrace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, and enterprise services while ensuring seamless integration with ServiceNow for incident and event management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds Orion, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Monitor infrastructure, cloud services, applications, networks, and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring and infrastructure-related issues.
• Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow for event and incident management.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring capabilities and system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Enterprise Monitoring, or Observability platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise monitoring tools.
• Experience with SolarWinds Orion, Splunk, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow integration.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting production infrastructure, cloud environments, applications, networks, and storage systems.
