System Engineer

We are seeking a experienced System Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this position, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of core system and internet services based on Linux platforms. The role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of production systems through continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence.

What we will expect from you:

• Design, configure, and maintain core Linux-based services
• Develop and implement automation and orchestration scripts and tools
• Build and maintain monitoring and management services to ensure high availability and operational transparency
• Perform performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of Linux systems and related services
• Continuously improve service reliability and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with application, network and security teams on service-related initiatives

For a good start you will need:

• University degree in field of IT Technology or Telecommunication
• Proven experience with Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS and/or Debian/Ubuntu)
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based services (DNS, DHCP, web, mail, RADIUS, LDAP)
• Practical knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Perl)
• Understanding of multi-server and high-availability environments
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks, routing, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Familiarity with monitoring systems (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
