Infrastructure Automation Engineer (3–6 Years)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of physical and virtual infrastructure using MaaS.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for infrastructure management, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Build, deploy, and manage infrastructure as part of automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and automation issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with system administrators, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Maintain automation playbooks, scripts, and technical documentation.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

• 3–6 years of IT infrastructure or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with MaaS (Metal as a Service).
• Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and server infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
