Build Europe's First Data Exchange
We're building infrastructure that enables organisations to transact data transparently, fairly, and under enforceable legal conditions. Built on research from the University of Amsterdam, THFLR transforms legal agreements into machine-enforceable rules, enabling trusted and scalable data transactions.
We work with organisations including AMS-IX, KPMG, SURF, and the University of Amsterdam.
What We Mean by a Software Engineer
A) A Delivery-Focused Engineer
Independently implement and deploy technical solutions, taking individual ownership for your delivery being reliable and on time. You understand what it means to support a system in a production environment.
B) An Engineer Who Helps Shape the Product
You have the capability and drive to understand the wider business problem by directly communicating with and learning from our customers and partners. This enables you to take ownership the functional direction of the product. Your technical and functional abilities complement each other, resulting in solving the customer’s problem with speed and accuracy.
Software engineering remains the core of this role. We expect you to build and ship software. We're happy if you're A. If you're A + B, even better.
What You'll Do
- Build and extend our platform and backend services
- Gather requirements from customers and partners
- Support production systems
- Help shape technical and product decisions
Technology stack: Kotlin, Rust, JavaScript
