Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who possesses a rare combination of expertise in C#, Python, Fast API, WinForms, and SQL. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong software development and coding capabilities while also exhibiting excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. The ability to balance technical excellence with effective collaboration is critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in Python development and backend application design.
• Experience in developing and consuming FastAPI-based RESTful services(Django/Flask)
• Strong expertise in Windows Forms (WinForms) application development and maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL server, including query optimization, stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software design principles, code reviews, and application architecture.

Core Competencies

Data & Backend (Python/SQL):

• Python: Proficient in Python for backend development, specifically using Fast API.
• Orchestration: Experience with Dagster (or similar Python-based orchestration tools).
• SQL & Data Design: Strong ability to write raw SQL for migrations and a deep understanding of data design (denormalizing raw sources for analytics) rather than just database administration.
• Pipelines: Experience with DBT for building declarative data pipelines.

C#/.NET

• Expertise in desktop application development specifically
• Candidates focused solely on web-based .NET will not be suitable for this role
• Excel Integration: Proven experience with COM add-ins, VSTO, and Excel DNA.
• UI Frameworks: Proficiency in WinForms is essential for creating presentation panes and forms within the Excel environment (WPF is not compatible with current requirements).

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any field with minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
