About the Role

The Strategy & Operations Manager, Delivery LatAm, plays a key role in driving consumer growth and enhancing the consumer experience across Latin America. At Uber, strategy and execution go hand in hand to solve complex, real-world challenges. In this role, you will use data to identify opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and lead cross-functional initiatives that translate strategic priorities into measurable business impact.

As a strategic partner to Product and Engineering teams, you will help shape the product roadmap, support successful feature launches across the region, and improve operational scalability. You will navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and make thoughtful decisions using data and sound judgment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable processes, and delivering meaningful results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead high-impact strategic initiatives from concept through execution, partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to launch new features, improve products, and address complex operational challenges.
  • Use advanced analytics, business intelligence, and deep-dive analyses to identify performance drivers, uncover growth opportunities, diagnose operational bottlenecks, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Design, implement, and scale operational processes, automation, and tools that improve efficiency, enhance the consumer experience, and support sustainable business growth.
  • Serve as the primary regional partner for Product and Engineering teams, helping shape the product roadmap, support feature launches, and identify technology solutions that improve scalability and reduce operational friction.
  • Manage complex cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and successful execution while balancing competing priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners, including senior leaders and technical teams, to align on priorities, influence decisions, and deliver shared business outcomes.
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations, business cases, and performance updates to senior leadership, enabling data-informed decision-making across the region.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or another quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects from strategy through execution and delivering measurable business impact in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build alignment and influence decisions across teams and organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior stakeholders.
  • SQL experience is a BIG PLUS!
