An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defense sector is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will perform real-time processing software development in support of critical product lines within an Agile environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing real-time processing software for advanced radar and missile defense systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Subsystems, and Systems Engineering.
- Establishing software architecture and design patterns for complex technical solutions.
- Implementing unit tests and supporting system integration and sustainment activities.
- Working within an Agile framework to meet evolving technical requirements and project milestones.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented C++ software development.
- Proficiency with Linux environments and automated test tools.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a security clearance.
- Salary: £93,200 - £164,450 annual
