Customer Care Advisor

Key roles

You will advise customers on their insurance needs and make outbound calls to generate sales and renewals. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly reliable and focused individual who is looking to join a dynamic and high-performing unit.

Specific responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Handling enquiries from customers through inbound telephone activity and email.

  • Responding to all customer service requirements to agreed service levels, procedures and guidelines

  • Providing relevant and accurate advice to customers through an in-depth knowledge of the business, and the services it provides

  • Meeting and exceeding your assigned individual and team targets

  • Resolving all queries on a first call resolution basis

  • Making outbound calls to generate sales and renewals

  • Always act in a compliant and secure manner in accordance with policy and procedures

  • Demonstrating a united approach to achieving goals and working as part of a successful team

  • Committing to future personal development and growth

Qualifications/skills

  • APA qualification preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail / accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

  • Decision-making skills and sound numeric skills

  • Sales negotiation and administration skills highly desirable

Experience

  • Experience working in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines or call centre environment

  • Experience working positively as part of a team and in supporting and motivating others to achieve team objectives

  • Third Level qualification (Highly desired)
