Marple is a startup based in Antwerp, Belgium. We are a product-focused company, building cloud-based software to work with time series data.

Our customers make Marple fun. We work for absolute cutting edge R&D worldwide, including Formula 1, electric airplane companies, and the fastest car on the planet.

What we expect from you

Non-negotiable

• Full-time position
• 3 days / week present at the office in Antwerp
• You have experience in coding solutions to hard problems (the kind where you need to think 4 hours to write 5 lines)
• We are not sponsoring EU/Belgian Visas

Things that we like, but are not required

• Experience with Python, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Linux, Docker, AWS or Kubernetes
• Good development hygiene (small pull requests, unit testing, pure functions, …)
• A degree in science/engineering fields, computer science, or related fields
• You have shipped a product before (can be small)
• You know how to use AI to your advantage for coding
• You speak Dutch

Also, performance is a continuous challenge in our products. A typical use case has files at 200Hz, 40k channels, for 30 minutes. That means that one such file contains 14 billion data points. We allow handling multiple of these in parallel. This makes coding new features certainly not easy, but very interesting. Read more about this in our blog post.
