Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Python API Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS Lambda, and modern database technologies, with hands-on experience using Liquibase for database version control and migrations.

Required Skills

• Strong experience developing REST APIs using Python.
• Hands-on experience building serverless applications with AWS Lambda.
• Experience working with Amazon Aurora and Amazon DynamoDB.
• Strong knowledge of Liquibase for database schema versioning and migrations (Must Have).
• Experience integrating APIs with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance RESTful APIs using Python.
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Implement and manage database schema changes using Liquibase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
