As a Senior Service Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving service sales growth in Singapore, developing new business opportunities, expanding our installed base penetration, and fostering strong relationships with end-users, consultants, EPCs, and key industry stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Promote Hitachi Energy's service solutions in Singapore and drive profitable growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities within the installed base and target market segments.
- Develop and execute local sales strategies to achieve order intake and margin targets, provide sales forecasting, and contribute market insights to support business growth.
- Build and strengthen relationships with end users, consultants, EPCs, and key industry stakeholders to expand market presence and generate service sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of service solutions, transformer products, and lifecycle management offerings to deliver value-driven solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Product Service Centres and internal stakeholders to develop competitive service offerings and support customer requirements.
- Prepare high-quality proposals and quotations, lead customer presentations and commercial discussions, and support bid/no-bid and risk review processes.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity in all interactions and activities.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6-8 years of sales, business development, or service sales experience within the power, energy, electrical equipment, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of transformer products, power systems, electrical infrastructure, or related service offerings. Experience with transformer products is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in new business development and customer engagement within the Singapore market.
- Established relationships with end users, consultants, EPCs, utilities, data centre operators, or industrial customers will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with a high level of English proficiency.
