About the Role

As the Argentina Merchant Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting merchant growth, operational excellence, and the overall merchant experience across Argentina. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to design scalable tools and processes that help local teams achieve ambitious business and experience goals.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Territory and Commercial teams to understand the needs of our key merchant partners, uncover actionable insights through data, and develop strategies that help every delivery feel seamless. You'll also collaborate with Operations Leads, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive meaningful business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Define the strategy and drive execution of programs that accelerate restaurant same-store demand growth across both monetized and non-monetized initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end program management across key growth levers, including Ads, Offers, Membership, Menu Optimization, Feed Quality, Storefront Optimization, Merchant Quality, and more.
  • Build scalable playbooks, toolkits, and operational processes that enable consistent execution across the market.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics-including same-store demand, gross bookings, ROI, menu coverage, conversion, retention, and merchant acquisition-and translate insights into action.
  • Champion the merchant perspective by ensuring strategies and operational improvements support sustainable business growth.
  • Identify operational, customer, or technical issues and drive solutions or escalate when appropriate.
  • Develop SQL queries, dashboards, and analytical resources that empower Account Managers and Sales teams to make data-informed decisions.
  • Partner with Commercial, Product Operations, Central Operations, and regional teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.
  • Identify root causes of business challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Continuously optimize processes and operational workflows, measuring results and scaling successful initiatives across the region.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to understand their challenges and improve internal tools and processes.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team with broad visibility, ownership, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Need
  • At least 3 years of experience in Merchant Operations, Strategy, Operations, Consulting, Technology, Investment Banking, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience using data to generate insights, prioritize opportunities, and influence business strategy.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience building dashboards or performing deep data analysis is a MUST.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting data and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and functions.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
