The LIVE Creator Growth team focuses on expanding creator success, strengthening the music ecosystem, and driving sustainable growth through strategic creator management, partnerships, and scalable programs. We're looking for a relationship-driven, data-oriented Music Creator Strategist to help shape the future of music livestreaming on TikTok.

What You'll Do
As a Music Creator Strategist, you will own the strategy and execution of initiatives that accelerate growth across TikTok LIVE's Music ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of creator management, strategy, analytics, project management, and external partnerships, requiring strong business acumen to translate insights into impactful programs that drive creator acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.

Creator Strategy & Growth
- Manage a portfolio of high-potential music creators, providing strategic coaching to accelerate audience growth, engagement, and monetization on TikTok LIVE.
- Build a structured understanding of the creator ecosystem across segments (emerging → mid-tier → top creators), identifying key growth levers and lifecycle dynamics.
- Build trusted relationships with creators, agencies, and management teams while serving as a strategic advisor for long-term success.
- Leverage data to identify scalable creator best practices and translate learnings into broader ecosystem initiatives.

Strategic Programs & Partnerships
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic music initiatives, including creator showcases, educational programs, industry events, and flagship campaigns.
- Develop and manage partnerships with festivals, music brands, agencies, artist teams, and other industry organizations to drive creator recruitment, education, and engagement.
- Own end-to-end project management across multiple concurrent initiatives, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop scalable, creator-facing assets (toolkits, playbooks, visual/video content) that translate strategy into clear, actionable guidance.
- Continuously evaluate campaign effectiveness through data analysis, deriving actionable insights to iterate, optimize, and scale successful initiatives.
- Drive measurable impact across key KPIs such as creator activation, engagement, monetization, and long-term retention.

Data & Business Strategy
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to identify ecosystem trends, evaluate creator performance, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to measure program performance across recruitment, engagement, retention, monetization, and creator success.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for leadership using data-driven insights and clear executive communication.

Music Ecosystem Development
- Stay informed on music industry trends, creator behavior, livestreaming platforms, and emerging opportunities within the creator economy.
- Help shape TikTok LIVE's long-term music strategy by identifying new creator segments, partnership opportunities, and scalable growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in creator management, partnerships, strategy, consulting, program management, business operations, or growth within technology, media, entertainment, or the creator economy.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects from planning through execution (e.g., growth, engagement, monetization).
- Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using data (e.g., dashboards, cohort/funnel analysis) to drive decisions and optimize performance.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with experience working directly with external partners, creators, or clients.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within music, entertainment, livestreaming, creator platforms, or digital media.
- Familiarity with creator monetization models and the broader creator economy.
- Experience building strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, festivals, artists, or entertainment organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to launch and scale new programs or business initiatives from concept to execution.
