Software Engineer (Java & Oracle Database)


We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the team of our client, a leading technology company specializing in banking transformation projects. In this role, you will contribute to the development and modernization of mission-critical banking applications using Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Java, and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for banking transformation initiatives.
  • Design and develop database components using Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Analyze and optimize database performance through SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
  • Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to software quality, maintainability, and engineering best practices.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
  • Proven experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning.
  • Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
