PROJECT OVERVIEW

Within the IT Department of the Group, which manages a portfolio of intranet, extranet, and commercial e-commerce websites, you will join the ePlatform team, responsible for the distribution and creation of digital content across the group, including eBooks and audiobooks.


RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Participate in ePlatform Development:

  • Gather, document, and centralize functional requirements from business departments (Marketing, Sales, Publishing) and the eCommerce team.
  • Prepare technical specifications, create the associated Jira tickets, and maintain project documentation in Wikis.
  • Develop solutions using Python, Java, Scala, MariaDB, and UI technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).
  • Perform code refactoring, unit testing, and functional testing.
  • Ensure the security of code and production data.
  • Participate in the deployment of developed applications into production.
  • Plan and monitor the progress of coordinated projects while ensuring delivery within deadlines.


2. Participate in ePlatform Operational Maintenance:

  • Analyze all types of production incidents related to hosting, networking, or application functionality.
  • Analyze business logs and troubleshoot issues involving:
  • Networking (SFTP, HTTPS, SSH)
  • Databases (MariaDB)
  • Linux (various Bash scripts)
  • Work with Jenkins, including Jobs, workflows, scripting, and crontab management.


3. Participate in the ePlatform Modernization Project:

  • Develop the new technical stack using Python and the latest versions of Java:
  • Java SOAP Web Services
  • Python modules based on FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy
  • Rationalize Python jobs and processing workflows.
  • Perform unit, functional, and performance testing.
  • Ensure the security of code and production data.
  • Ensure functional consistency between the new platform and the existing ePlatform.
  • Plan the progressive production deployment of the modernization modules.


PROFILE


Must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in IT Production and DevOps environments.
  • Strong experience using Python and related tech stack: FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Loguru, Jinja, Sphinx, Pandas, boto3, pillow.
  • Experience using Java.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to make proposals and improvements.


Nice to have:

  • Experience using Scala, Maven, Git, Slack, IDE.
