Finance Analyst

We're working with a leading UK company to recruit a commercially minded Financial Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams, using data to influence decisions, and driving business performance.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, providing financial insight, commercial support, and analysis to help shape strategy, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvement.

• Partner with senior stakeholders, providing financial analysis and commercial insight to support key business decisions.
• Produce meaningful reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that drive operational performance.
• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process for the operations function, ensuring robust assumptions and clear identification of risks and opportunities.
• Lead monthly financial performance reviews with operational teams.
• Deliver detailed variance analysis and month-end commentary, highlighting key drivers and recommendations.
• Support capital investment decisions through business case preparation, investment appraisal, and payback analysis.
• Contribute to stock management and inventory reporting.
• Build strong relationships across finance and operations to improve financial understanding throughout the business.

You'll be an analytical and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and influencing decision-making through high-quality financial insight.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering role.
• Strong financial modelling, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
