JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Manager is responsible for placing participants for the High School in the USA programs. This position requires securing the proper permission documents needed from each school. The Regional Manager recruits and trains Local Coordinators. This position is responsible for overseeing the health, safety and well-being of the participants in their area with the help of the Local Coordinators. The Regional Manager is responsible to ensure that participants are having cultural activities with American citizens while on the program. This position also oversees monthly monitoring of all program participants. The Regional Manager reports to the President of High School in the USA and provides excellent customer service to team members and external customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secure host family placements for program participants
- Secure high school acceptances for program participants
- Manage a team of Local Coordinators by providing training, feedback, support, and mentorship
- Train Local Coordinators to be in compliance with Department of State regulations
- Responsible for the onboarding Local Coordinators and training them in best practices to find host families
- Review school documents for participant placement
- Provide participant support
- Oversee monthly monitoring of all participants
- Act as the Local Coordinator and meet any requirements for the program as required
- Manage Local Coordinators to ensure compliance with Host Family orientations, student orientation, monthly oversight, second home visits, and all other Department of State required oversight for student exchange visitors
- Manage Cultural Activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in the high school exchange industry
- Experience using a CRM
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
- Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
- High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic
- Commitment to service excellence
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent organization and follow through
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
