What you'll do
- Build and maintain intricate financial models from scratch to capture complex business dynamics and drive better decision-making.
- Navigate shifting priorities and high-impact problems across teams like Sales and Operations to unblock growth and efficiency.
- Own a summer-long project culminating in a strategic business recommendation delivered directly to the Strategic Finance Leadership team.
- Collaborate across disciplines to translate financial insights into practical solutions for new products, pricing strategies, or market launches.
- Drive operational excellence by leading initiatives that help Uber scale from a high-growth startup environment to a mature global enterprise.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or Masters program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of involvement in extracurricular groups, leadership activities, or previous internship opportunities.
- Expected Graduation date July or December 2027 (only). Applications with other graduation dates will not be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of GAAP principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior analytical internship experience in technology, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or enterprise-level financial planning systems.
- Proven ability to structure effective presentations and communicate complex stories through data.
- Demonstrated adaptability and resilience when navigating fast-moving and ambiguous projects.
