Senior Software Development Engineer- Golang

What You'll Do

• Design and build a persistent, threaded, in-app conversational interface enabling ongoing one-to-one dialogue between client relationship managers and high-net-worth clients
• Architect real-time messaging infrastructure (delivery, read receipts, presence, attachments, notifications) with reliability and low-latency as first-class requirements
• Integrate with client's existing contact center and case backbone (Amazon Connect) and the central CX knowledge repository so agent-facing context is unified with self-service surfaces
• Work closely with the Concierge product and design team to translate a high-touch, concierge-style service model into a scalable engineering system
• Apply resilience patterns already proven elsewhere in CEE (failover, caching/snapshotting, circuit breakers) to a system handling sensitive financial communications
• Collaborate with security/compliance stakeholders given the sensitivity of high-net-worth client data and financial communications
• Contribute to build-vs-buy decisions as the team migrates off legacy third-party vendors toward more owned infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years building production backend and/or full-stack systems, ideally including real-time messaging, chat, or notification infrastructure
• Experience with event-driven architectures, WebSockets or similar real-time transport, and message durability/delivery guarantees
• Comfort operating in a regulated, security-conscious environment (fintech, banking, or similar preferred)
• Track record shipping 0-to-1 features independently, with strong ownership and minimal hand-holding
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and contact-center or CRM-adjacent systems (e.g., Amazon Connect, Salesforce) is a plus
• Strong communication skills — this role works directly with engineering leadership day to day

Nice to Have

• Prior experience building consumer messaging products (chat apps, WhatsApp Business API integrations, or similar)
• Exposure to wealth management, private banking, or high-touch client service products
