Make a Difference That Matters
With a mission that truly changes lives, the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a special place to build your career. Every day, our work supports oncology nurses and advances patient advocacy, education, and professional excellence across the cancer care continuum. If you are inspired by purpose-driven leadership and energized by growth, innovation, and community impact, this role offers a rare opportunity to make a lasting difference.
Since 1975, ONS has served as the professional home for oncology nurses—developing evidence-based education, advancing treatment knowledge, and advocating for improved outcomes for patients with cancer and their families.
The Opportunity
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a foundational role in expanding ONS's institutional presence and advancing the organization's revenue growth. This position supports the Institutional Sales and Relations team by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective institutional customers while nurturing existing relationships across the sales pipeline. The SDR serves as a critical bridge between marketing-generated leads and the sales cycle, working closely with the Institutional Sales & Relations Representative to drive meeting volume and pipeline momentum, and partnering with Customer Success Managers to re-engage and retain current customers. Through proactive outreach, responsive follow-up, and commitment to ONS' mission, the SDR helps connect oncology nursing professionals and their institutions to the resources, education, and membership that advance excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care.
