This is a remote position.

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable reports
  • Monthly preparation of cashflow and accrual accounting
  • Payroll processing
  • Preparing work of high quality in an efficient manner supporting
the team in a growing Australian Bookkeeping firm, including:
o Preparing BAS returnso Weekly bookkeeping including bank reconciliation,payroll, accounts payableo Practice management and ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Tertiary Accounting Qualifications – BS Accountancy
  • Worked in a bookkeeping/accounting practice for an Australian
Business.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian GST & PAYG.
  • Preparing a variety of different business BAS/IAS Statements.
  • Australian Payroll processing is a must
  • Must be competent in Xero
  • Must have at least 2-4yrs of Australian Accounting experience
