What this position contributes to Cardinal Health

The Pharmacy Liaison Coordinator primarily serves as a liaison between the business, andSpecialtyPharmacystakeholder partners toensure hub patientssent to Specialty Pharmacies successfully access much needed therapy. This roleplays a critical rolein ensuring a seamless transition throughout the patient journey as the hub completesreimbursementservices andtransferthe patient to aSpecialtyPharmacyto complete theirjourney. Thisposition serves as a criticalbridge in ensuring patients get access to therapy in a fast,efficientand streamlined manner.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer escalated cases through investigation and case review.

  • Responsible formaintainingan issues log that clearlystatesall encountered issues and steps to resolve the issue.

  • Mediate effective resolution for complex payer/pharmacy issues toward a positive outcome to de-escalate.

  • Answer requests from doctors and/or patientschecking onthe status of the triage.

  • Perform other activities related to internal initiatives and/or the manufacturer’s program as assigned.

  • Support manufacturer field team members asrequiredon case updates.

  • Works internally with team membersregardingpatients’ cases.

  • Ability toidentify, document, andsubmitAdverse Events during customer contact or via received documentation.

  • Serving as Single Point of Contact for Cardinal Health Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support related inquiries when communicating with specific and designated Specialty Pharmacies.

  • Responsible for handling escalated cases and reporting to field-based representatives as needed.

  • Responsible for running all reportsrelativeto Cardinal Health Sonexus™ Access and Patient Support and program dispenses, addressing any issues or errors discovered

  • Responsible for ensuring accounts are updated andaccurate,submittingIT escalations ifrequired.

  • Support the hub team with work overflow and reimbursement support when necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • 3-6 years of experience, preferred

  • Experience and knowledge in the healthcare management industry including Prior Authorizations, Appeals, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial plansispreferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Excellent observation skills to easilyidentifytrends and problems while providing solutions.

  • Superior written& verbalcommunication skills.

  • Experience in phone-based customer servicepreferred.

Training And Work Schedules: Your new hire training will take place8:00am-5:00pmCST,mandatory attendance isrequired.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week).  Employeesare required tohave flexibility toworkany of our shift schedules during our normal businesshours ofMonday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST.

Remote Details:

You will workremotely,full-time. It will require a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer,technologyand equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You willbe responsible forproviding high-speed internet. Internet requirements include the following:

  • Maintain a secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) at the remote location. Dial-up, satellite, WIFI, Cellular connections are NOT acceptable.

  • Download speed of 15Mbps (megabyte per second)

  • Upload speed of 5Mbps (megabyte per second)

  • Ping Rate Maximum of 30ms (milliseconds)

  • Hardwired to the router

  • Surge protector with Network Line Protection for CAH issued equipment

Anticipated hourly range:$21.40 per hour - $30.60 per hour
