Requirements

Summary:

Provides routine data collection, preparation and administrative support for complaint response duties handled by Regulatory Affairs Specialists. Supports work queue assignment, data uploads to state regulatory portals and other technical tasks needed for timely regulatory reporting. Escalates complex issues to specialists or management. Prepares standard and limited ad hoc reports related to complaint and regulatory functions using established templates and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and organizes complaint, policy, billing and related business information for internal and/or external reporting using established procedures.
  • Coordinates with Product, Billing, Claims, Service, I/T and other business partners to obtain documentation, confirm data needs and route policy or billing-related inquiries.
  • Performs data uploads to state regulatory portals and supports timely regulatory reporting in accordance with instructions and established controls.
  • Maintains complaint file tracking, work assignment queues, portal records, data dictionary fields and other metadata updates as assigned. Reviews assigned information for completeness, consistency and obvious data issues; escalates discrepancies or non-routine questions to Regulatory Affairs Specialists or management.
  • Researches and evaluates policy processing transactions to support Regulatory Affairs Specialist to resolve complaints;
  • Assists in development of plans to address complaint trends
  • Participates in department and team sessions to discuss complaint trends
  • Assists Reg Affairs Specialist on data calls, premium surveys, market conduct exams and investigations.
