- Collaborative distributed team across continents - working primarily asynchronously
- Proficiency in building backend systems using Golang
- Experience in developing scalable distributed systems and APIs
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design knowledge
- Curious, adaptable and enjoys solving ambiguous engineering problems
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain complex technical concepts simply
- Experience in payments, banking or fintech infrastructure
- Exposure to distributed workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal
- Experience with cryptocurrencies, stablecoins or digital asset infrastructure
- Open-source contributions, technical writing, blogs or community involvement
- 100% individual contributor role - there is no existing pure EM role within the team, you are welcomed / encouraged to lead/guide other engineers
- Senior: 5+ years of software engineering experience > strong system design knowledge and experience, delivering from ideation through deployment and production support, knowing when/how things will break and how to avoid them from breaking
- Mid-level: 3-4 years of software engineering experience > being able to deliver new features end-to-end independently
- Hybrid, 3 days working in office - Tuesdays to Thursdays weekly
