As a Senior Java Software Architect, you will play a central role in shaping and evolving mission-critical enterprise applications with a meaningful social impact. We are looking for someone who will bring extensive experience in enterprise software development and who can demonstrate having successfully combined software architecture responsibilities with hands-on engineering throughout their career. A strong Java background is essential, including at least 10 years of professional experience and deep expertise in Java 11 and Java 17.

You should be comfortable working with technologies such as Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, WildFly, and Java EE, and have a solid understanding of object-oriented design, clean code principles, and established design patterns. Experience in modernizing legacy systems and designing robust enterprise architectures will be highly valued.

Your technical toolkit should also include PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, JPQL, and CriteriaBuilder. Familiarity with modern development environments and DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Docker, Maven, and Eclipse Tycho, is expected.

Beyond technical expertise, you communicate effectively across different audiences and build productive relationships with colleagues and customers alike. A good command of English (minimum B2 level) and fluent German (minimum C2 level) are essential for success in this role.
