Senior Software Engineer

A. OVERALL

Key Expectations of the Senior Software Engineer:

• Design, develop, and optimize large-scale backend systems.
• Build and define system architecture with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Integrate systems and ensure quality through CI/CD, test automation, and monitoring.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and enhance technical quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership for Mobile, Web, DevOps, and Data teams.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and establish technical standards across the engineering team.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend development & optimization

• Design and develop complex APIs, services, and large-scale modules.Optimize system performance: caching, load balancing, concurrency, and throughput.Handle large datasets and real-time data streams.Ensure security compliance based on OWASP standards and internal policies.

System architecture & scalability

• Design system architecture aligned with real-world requirements (microservices, event-driven, and other patterns).Develop technical guidelines for database architectures (SQL/NoSQL), indexing, and sharding strategies.Drive technology selection and technical design patterns in line with company strategy.Propose improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and scalability

Integration & quality assurance

• Integrate backend systems with Mobile/Web, Data platforms, and external partners.Set up and optimize backend CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Implement unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests when needed.Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch; perform log analysis.Proactively monitor and resolve production incidents; propose preventive measures.

AI-powered development

• Use AI assistants for code generation, refactoring, and documentation.Create test cases and automated tests with AI.Propose AI-driven workflows to improve team productivity.

Technical support & cross-team collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps to build stable and scalable environments.Collaborate with Mobile/Web teams to ensure consistent and integrable APIs.Support the operations team when user-facing issues occur.

Technical mentoring & training

• Review code and create technical guidelines for the engineering team.Mentor new team members.Contribute to medium- and long-term technical roadmap planning.

C. QUALIFICATIONS

• University or higher in all of major of Information Technology.
• Good in reading English technical document, basic English communication.
• Proficient in at least one backend programming language such as Golang, Node.js, Python, etc., along with its corresponding API frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience working with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Skilled in CI/CD, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of backend security: authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and encryption.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience optimizing performance for high-load systems.
