Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Engineer to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems using Golang. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to build scalable microservices and mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Golang applications.
• Build scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and gRPC services.
• Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Golang development.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and gRPC.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ClickHouse.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proficiency with Git and Jira.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Must currently be residing in the UAE.
• Must hold a valid UAE Residence Visa.
• Available to join immediately or within a short notice period.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points)

• Knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini, or similar AI coding assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
• Passion for continuously learning and adopting emerging technologies and development best practices.
