Cloud Native Engineer

Are you a cloud native engineer who wants your work to matter, both technically and for the people and organizations you build for?

At Elastisys, you'll work on some of the most advanced and socially important cloud native projects in the Nordics. We build and run secure, scalable infrastructure for organizations where it genuinely matters, and we do it together.

About the role

As a Cloud Native Engineer, you'll play a central role in customer projects, from planning and design to implementing solutions in complex cloud native environments. You'll also contribute to our internal knowledge sharing and the wider open source community. How we grow together matters as much as what we deliver.

What you'll work with

• Designing and building cloud native software systems
• Kubernetes based deployments
• Containerization and microservice based architectures
• Backend development in Go and C++, with language choice driven by context
• Development that takes cloud runtime constraints into account
• Close collaboration with architects, clients, and cross functional teams

Who are you?

We imagine you bring a few years of professional software development experience, with solid backend skills in Go or C++ and a clear focus on cloud development. You have hands on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads, and you know what it takes to build products that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

You like to collaborate, communicate clearly, and care about both the quality of your work and the people around you. A genuine interest in modern infrastructure comes naturally to you, as does driving projects from idea to implementation, however you got there. An interest in open source and contributing to a broader community matters to us too.

A degree in computer science, physics, or similar is one way to have built this. It's your competence and curiosity that count.
