The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale the distributed systems that power the company's AI platform.

You'll work as part of a high-performing engineering team, building high-throughput, low-latency backend services that are relied upon by customers around the world. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure and senior technical leaders to deliver reliable, scalable software while influencing technical decisions within your team.

This role is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys writing high-quality code, solving complex technical challenges and contributing to architecture in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend services using modern engineering practices.
• Develop scalable, distributed systems capable of supporting significant growth and increasing customer demand.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Support and mentor more junior engineers while continuing to develop your own technical expertise

About You

You'll be an experienced backend software engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building scalable systems.

You'll bring:

• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience using Golang (preferred), or commercial experience withJava or Python.
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems in cloud-based environments.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs and scalable backend architecture.

What's on Offer

Salary up to £140,000, plus a 10% annual bonus. Competitive equity package. Remote-first working, with London office visits approximately 2–3 times per quarter. (Can go as much as you like if you prefer)
