Senior Backend Developer (Go) (m/f/d) - Startup - Hybrid/Remote

As a Senior Backend Developer at Logicc, you'll play an active role in shaping the future of AI applications. Working in our agile team, you'll see the direct impact of your work on our users while helping drive one of the most exciting technology fields of our time.

Tasks

• Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of our backend stack


• Lead complex database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies


• Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs


• Define the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders


• Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the teamDefine the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go


• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling


• An open mindset toward AI-assisted software development and hands-on experience with coding agents


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (English is our working language)


• A high degree of ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership (people management experience is a plus)


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments

You'll become part of our cross-functional product team. As a young startup, we keep communication simple, decisions fast, and your ideas truly matter.

Our day-to-day work is pragmatic, with short daily stand-ups and direct communication. We value clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture. While our core team is based in our Hamburg office, we also work remotely across Germany.
