About Teams Squared:We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson interested in collaborating with Australian architects. The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and technical documentation using theArchiCAD software.
  • Interpret and develop designs based on architectural sketches, concepts, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine and adjust drawings as needed.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for planning and building approvals.
  • Conduct quality checks on drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage multiple drafting projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

    Requirements

    • Experience in creating detailed architectural drawings using ArchiCAD.​
    • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
    • Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting work.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
    • A diploma or degree in architectural drafting or a related field is preferred.
