Manages sales of medical device or life sciences products or services. Product sales may include, but are not limited to the following: medical devices (including implantable devices), diagnostic products/services, pharmaceuticals (including specialty, non-specialty, vaccines and generics), scientific and research products and/or services. Sales may be focused in a specified geographic area, specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis. Incumbents at the Director and Senior Director level typically manage other sales managers. Incumbents at the Manager level may manage only individual contributor sales account managers. CRO/CMO companies should also match field sales management to this job family
