The Opportunity

As a Founding Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced founders and senior engineers to build and scale the core platform from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role with significant influence over architecture, infrastructure, product development, and engineering culture. You'll help shape technical strategy while building systems that solve complex, real-world problems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade software systems
• Lead backend and infrastructure development (Go, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
• Contribute across the stack when required (React, TypeScript)
• Work closely with customers to rapidly iterate and deliver value
• Help define engineering standards, processes, and long-term technical direction

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering and cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience with Go (Golang) is preferred, although candidates with expertise in other backend languages will also be considered
• Experience designing scalable, reliable distributed systems
• Ability to make sound technical decisions in fast-moving environments
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership
• Interest in AI-driven products and emerging technologies
• Leadership potential with a desire to help build and mentor future teams
• Experience as a Founding Engineer, early-stage startup engineer, or founder is highly desirable
