We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Provide technical leadership for a modern web platform using Angular/React, Java (Quarkus, Spring Boot), and Python
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team, raising technical standards and ensuring architectural and code quality alignment
- Drive AI-native development of the platform, designing agents, skills, and workflows for healthcare applications
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and other product teams to ensure consistency and integration
- Coach and mentor engineers to foster a high-performing, self-organized team
- Senior-level experience in engineering modern web applications with proven technical leadership
- University degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of React/Angular, Java Spring Boot (Quarkus experience ideal), Python, Kafka, Terraform, and Cloud/DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Demonstrated effective use of AI in software engineering, including AI pipelines and context engineering
- Fluent in German and English, with strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
