Hiring: Senior / Lead Golang Developer | Event-Driven Architecture
RECRUITER OVERVIEW:
Hey, I'm Will — Rumor has it I'm Colorado's #1 Most Connected, Respected & Bald-est 👨 🦲 #DevRecruiter™. As an agency software engineering recruiter, my team and I are actively and continually partnered with an ever-growing rolodex of private & public tech companies, as well as VC backed and self-funded startups, Pre-Seed through Acquisition/IPO...🚀 What these companies have in common is that they ALL are looking to Hire "Uncommonly Good" Founding, Mid, Senior, Lead, Staff & Principal Software Devs ... and of course, the Leaders of these Software Development Teams.
A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE
I am helping one of my favorite clients hire a Senior / Lead Golang Developer (and a couple other members of their team). They’re looking for Senior Engineers / Tech Leads to own event-driven architecture as they rip apart their legacy monolith into Go microservices and build out several exciting new products.
Lots of things we think you'll love about this role ... here are a few highlights:
- You'd be dealing at a large scale: (i.e., fun, gnarly scaling challenges ahead: 100M+ users, 6 billion HTTP requests daily, and 1.5M transactions/hour at peak).
- You'd be part of a team that holds a unique approach to AI: They are heavy in pragmatic AI tooling: very AI-forward, but NOT "AI First" ... it's DevsFirst instead :)
- You'd help shape the technical direction of a modern cloud-based platform while mentoring other engineers and leading technical initiatives from design through deployment.
- You'd work on a mission-critical product and work hand in hand with executive technical leaders, so your work will have impact at the highest level
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience leading software development initiatives at scale (i.e at companies who have hundreds of thousands to millions of users)
- Experience mentoring/leading other engineers and driving technical excellence.
- Strong production (non-side project) experience with Go (Golang)
- Strong understanding of systems design & microservices architecture.
- Advocate for clean architecture and clean code
- Experience working with event-driven systems such as Kafka.
- AI Forward, including experience in the transformation of the SDLC to ADLC
LOCATION
This role is based in Denver HQ, and the expectation of work is HYBRID, 3 days a week: ANY 3 days ... you pick :).
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is between $135K - $155K with a 15% bonus for a total expected cash compensation range of $155,250 to $178,250. Beyond the base and bonus, this company also offers a 4% 401K match, and they pay extra for any on-call.
NEXT STEPS
If you feel that your background and goals align with this role, please drop your resume here. If there is synergy, we will reach out ASAP.
Cheers,-Will
NOTE: This client is unable to offer sponsorship or visa transfers at this time. If you are interested and qualified after reviewing ALL of the requirements carefully, please submit your resume via LinkedIn and do not send any further personal messages. Rest assured, your application WILL be reviewed for a potential fit along with all other resumes via the applicant reviewing portal, and we WILL move forward with the best-fitting candidates. Due to an overwhelming amount of AI-generated spam messages via email and LinkedIn (and from folks who are clearly just not reading the Job Description), personal messages are now being disregarded
. Thanks!
