Their proprietary network allows their clients (Uber, Airbnb, Mastercard, Adidas, Western Union among others) to make payments in real-time in over 130 countries and more than 80 currencies.

You will join the European Engineering team, in their Barcelona office, located near the Sagrada Familia.

Our client's technology runs 24/7 across the globe, which means reliability, security, and massive scalability are core to everything the Engineering team builds.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly available services, mostly exposed through APIs
• Take part in the design, implementation, and production release of new products for internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality code: testable, secure, readable, scalable, and well documented
• Understand, apply, and champion Agile practices (code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.)
• Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and initiatives
• Ensure platform scalability and performance, ship new features, and continuously improve development processes

• Someone who fully "owns" their code: writing, testing, and deploying it, potentially several times a day
• Comfortable working on technology used 24/7 worldwide, with all the reliability and security that implies
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams across different countries

🛠️ Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of experience
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Experience with event-driven architecture and message brokers: AWS SNS/SQS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience with relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Proven experience designing and developing web solutions and APIs
• Genuine interest in the FinTech industry and its innovations
• Passionate about Agile practices (TDD, CI/CD, etc.)
• Experience with high-transaction-volume platforms is desirable
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• English level C1 required

• Bonus: 15% of fixed salary (50% company performance / 50% individual performance)
