Senior Golang Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Golang Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Go (Golang). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust APIs, optimize system performance, and deliver reliable software solutions following modern software engineering principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Go (Golang).
  
• Build, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
  
• Design and implement scalable microservices-based architectures.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
  
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Design, develop, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
  
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
  
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth2.
  
• Develop background services, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous processing using message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure application quality.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
  
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support deployment automation.
  
• Monitor application health, performance, and logs to ensure system reliability.
  
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Go (Golang).

Strong experience building RESTful APIs and familiarity with gRPC.

Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems.

Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.

Experience working with Redis and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.

Experience with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Good understanding of software security principles, including JWT, OAuth2, and OWASP Top 10.

Experience writing unit and integration tests.

Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
