Software Engineer

Alexander Technology Group is seeking a .NET Software Engineer for a growing technology company in the Concord, NH area. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established software engineering team developing innovative applications that support critical healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will enjoy building new features, enhancing existing products, and collaborating with a team focused on delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, background services, and database-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and refactor applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Support existing software products while contributing to the development of new functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop database solutions using SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
• Participate in software testing, deployments, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Follow software development best practices and secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL experience.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience using Visual Studio, GitHub, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thoroughly test code and deliver high-quality software.
