Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring alignment with GAAP and executive-level decision-making needs.
- Provide high-level financial insights, KPIs, and dashboards to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial policies at an organizational level.
- Lead relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Own the company-wide financial planning strategy, including long-term forecasting and multi-year financial models.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts and variance analysis
- Drive scenario planning, capital allocation, and investment strategy to support business growth.
- Advise executive leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and business performance.
- Evaluate and guide pricing strategies, margin performance, and service line profitability to support market expansion and overall business growth.
- Lead financial due diligence, structuring, and integration for mergers, acquisitions, or major investments, supported by financial modeling for capital investment and cost management decisions.
- Drive organization-wide financial systems strategy, including scalability, automation, and data infrastructure.
- Oversee cash flow strategy, capital structure, and funding requirements (debt, equity, or reinvestment).
- Develop enterprise-level risk management strategies, including financial, operational, and market risks.
- Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation frameworks across the business.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance function, including accounting, FP&A, and other finance roles as the company scales, through coaching, training, and continuous improvement.
- Develop leadership within the finance team, ensuring succession planning and capability building.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads to align financial and operational goals.
- Strategic and forward-thinking leader with strong business acumen.

- Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a senior finance or equivalent role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial strategy and planning, financial systems, accounting operations, and business performance management.
- Experience working within a venture or holding group is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Xero, Ramp, Rippling, Intact, Quickbooks).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with other teams (e.g., HR operations, etc.) to improve financial reporting, project costing, and system automation
- Experience leading or supporting financial system upgrades, integrations, or automation projects (e.g., integrating accounting software with CRM or PSA tools).
