Valve Package Lead (O-1360 Q)

Job Description Highlights:

• Responsible for on-time deliveries & handover of valves for the project.
• Provide extensive knowledge and understanding of the stages of manufacturing of specially designed, project specific large bore valves.
• Drives to obtain all necessary input required for the timely and complete progress of all activities from design, manufacturing, testing, deliveries, pre-commissioning & commissioning.
• Manage vendor & vendor deliverables understanding the deliverables required on the specific stage of manufacturing & ensure they are available & approved as needed.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. (Advanced degree is desirable.)
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as a valve delivery package lead/manager in the oil and gas industry.
• Understanding of the Piping International Codes and Standards and Good Engineering Practices applicable to the O&G Offshore facilities.
• Worked with equipment deliveries and an in-depth knowledge of large bore valves manufacturing.
• Understanding of the criticality & extensive testing requirements.
• Experience in working with FEED/EPC Contractors and interfacing with Vendors/sub-Vendors.
• Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
