Position Summary

Weare seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to joinour estimating team. You will be responsible for preparing competitive andaccurate cost estimates for formwork, concrete & reo packages acrossdiverse projects (civil, residential, commercial, industrial). The role demandsstrong technical skill, excellent knowledge of formwork and concrete systems,and capability to interpret drawings, manage tender submissions, andcollaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of theestimation process: from receipt of drawings/plans, through take-offs, quantitysurveying, material & labour costing, to final submission.
  
• Evaluate formwork, reo, concretepackages: design considerations, pro-forma pricing, supplier quotations.
  
• Review and verify civil,commercial & structural drawings/specs; identify scope clarifywith design engineers/subcontractors.
  
• Maintain and develop costdatabases (materials, labour, plant, subcontractors) relevant to formwork &concrete.
  
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns,risk assessments, allowances, variations, and contingency.
  
• Engage withsuppliers/subcontractors to obtain quotes (formwork systems, concrete,reinforcement etc.), negotiate rates.
  
• Coordinate with projectmanagement, operations, engineering/design teams to ensure the estimatesreflect practical constructability and site realities.
  
• Monitor tender pipelines; tracksubmissions; provide recommendations on tender/contract strategy.
  
• Provide input into scheduledevelopment & project planning; ensure that estimating aligns with programdurations, availability of resources.
  
• Identify opportunities for costsavings, process improvements, value engineering.
  
• Contribute to company margin &profitability targets via accurate estimating, risk mitigation, and strategicinput.
  

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in QuantitySurveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
  
• Minimum of 5-8 years estimatingexperience, ideally in formwork, concrete, or structural works. Senior level.
  
• Proficiency in software likeBluebeam is a must
  
• Strong technical knowledge offormwork systems, concrete engineering, reinforcement & structural concretebehaviour.
  
• Solid experience interpretingarchitectural, structural & civil drawin
  
• Excellent numerical, analytical,and spreadsheet skills; proficiency in take-off software/tools.
  
• Strong organisational skills andattention to detail.
