Backend Developer (H/F)

As part of a Scrum team involved in the development and evolution of digital solutions, the Backend Java Developer will work on-site,

Starting date: ASAP

Role:

• Deliver new backend features and bug fixes on existing applications
• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java and/or Kotlin
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs
• Contribute to microservices-based applications and system integration topics
• Apply software engineering best practices: testing, documentation, code review, maintainability and secure coding
• Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, product owners and other stakeholders
• Contribute to deployment and containerized environments when required

Profile:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 5-15years of experience in backend development with Java
• Experience with Kotlin is a strong plus
• Solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of RESTful web services and API integration
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Skilled in automated testing and code review practices
• Familiar with Linux, Git and CI/CD environments
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Helm and OpenShift is a strong plus
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Independent, curious, trustworthy and result-oriented
• Strong team player, comfortable in multicultural environments
• Fluent in English; French is a plus
