Job Objective

Lead the industrialization and localization of Busway and TOU offers ensuring successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI), Offer Change Projects (OCP), cost competitiveness quality and supply chain readiness. The role requires a highly autonomous leader capable of driving cross-functional collaboration, managing complex industrialization programs independently, and strengthening organizational capability through ownership and execution excellence

Location: Bangalore / Flexible based on business needs
Function: Industrialization - Power Products International Hub (PP InT Hub) & reporting to Chapter leader -Indus Management

Key Responsibilities

Offer Industrialization Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end industrialization activities for Busway and TOU offers
  • Drive successful execution of OCPs, NPI projects and product lifecycle management initiatives
  • Ensure manufacturing readiness, process capability, quality compliance, and supply chain preparedness.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for offer industrialization deliverables

Localization

  • Drive end-to-end localization projects in collaboration with Global Supply Chain (GSC), Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
  • Identify and execute localization opportunities to improve cost competitiveness and supply resilience

Project Management

  • Independently manage multiple industrialization and localization projects simultaneously.
  • Establish project roadmaps, milestones, risk mitigation plans and governance mechanisms.
  • Ensure timely delivery while meeting quality, cost, and performance targets

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Program Management teams globally.
  • Facilitate decision-making and remove execution barriers across functions.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive alignment on strategic priorities

Manufacturing & Operational Excellence

  • Support factory readiness, process validation, PPAP, qualification and industrial performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industrial Excellence methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric quality, safety, and operational standards

Capability Building

  • Demonstrate strong ownership and autonomous leadership.
  • Mentor and guide junior industrialization team members.
  • Strengthen the Offer Industrialization team through best-practice deployment and knowledge sharing.

Required Competencies

Technical

  • Strong knowledge of Busway products, manufacturing processes, and industrialization methodologies.
  • Understanding of TOU offer portfolio and industrial processes.
  • Expertise in NPI, OCP, localization, cost optimization, and value engineering.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and quality systems.

Leadership
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and execution focus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Capability to lead complex projects and drive decisions across multiple functions.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience
  • 10-15+ years of relevant experience in Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Program Management or Supply Chain.
  • Significant experience in Busway products and Electrical power distribution systems.
  • Proven track record in leading OCP, NPI, localization and industrial transformation projects.
  • Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
