Working in close partnership with other Architects, you will help solve complex business and technical challenges and ensure solutions are designed to best serve the evolving needs of the company. The ideal candidate pairs strong Salesforce architecture experience with an AI-first mindset, applying Agentforce and Claude-based solutions to solve problems, and the ability to identify and resolve process and technology gaps across the Product-to-Cash value chain, ensuring solutions align to their core business domains and to the enterprise taxonomy framework that underpins domain roadmaps and technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the architectural coach and mentor for engineers and solution designers across the Product-to-Cash domain, building team capability in Revenue Cloud Advanced and billing
Partner closely with the Principal Salesforce Architect to align on architectural direction, solve complex business and technical challenges together, and ensure solutions are designed to best serve the evolving needs of the company
Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and conceptual diagrams that clearly communicate architecture to technical and business audiences
Manage architecture and system roadmaps, ensuring alignment with platform standards and the long-term direction of the Product-to-Cash landscape
Define, maintain, and enforce platform standards across the Salesforce ecosystem
Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to prove out the architecture and validate design decisions before delivery
Actively participate in requirement gathering, clarifying scope and resolving ambiguity early in the lifecycle
Work with the integration team to design and govern integrations, ensuring seamless communication and data flow across systems
Provide hands-on Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)/CPQ coaching, including configuration patterns, design trade-offs, and implementation best practices
Own the end-to-end architecture of the Product-to-Cash lifecycle: quoting, contracting, ordering, fulfilment, billing, invoicing, revenue, customer success, and customer support
Architect and govern the billing system and billing platform, ensuring accurate invoicing, billing schedules, payment handling, dunning, and revenue recognition flows
Identify and resolve process gaps and technology gaps across Product-to-Cash, defining remediation approaches and driving them to resolution
Apply an AI-first mindset to problem solving, leveraging Agentforce and Claude-based solutions where they add value
Work with the development team to hand over designs cleanly, ensuring they have the context and clarity needed to build
During project execution, work with SMEs and Product Owners to address any requirement gaps and shape the right solution
Extend and mature the Product-to-Cash solution as business needs evolve, ensuring the architecture scales with new products, pricing models, and billing scenarios
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and Revenue Cloud
Apply architectural and engineering concepts to meet operational requirements such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, availability, and manageability
Conduct research and develop Proof of Concepts on emerging Salesforce and billing capabilities, recommending solutions that are functionally robust and cost-effective
Promote the adoption of design patterns and standard processes for solution design and development
Partner with data and integration architects to ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and seamless data flow between billing, ERP, and other systems
Work closely with solution architects to ensure individual solutions align with the overall enterprise architecture
Contribute to a learning community within the enterprise architecture discipline, fostering continuous improvement
