Role Description The Back End Developer role is a full-time hybrid position based in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Back End Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that support core business systems. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance and reliability, integrating with internal and external services, and collaborating with front-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions. The role involves reviewing code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in technical discussions, and following secure coding practices. The Back End Developer will also contribute to documentation, support deployments, and work closely with product and operations teams to ensure systems meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including API design, database integration, and server-side logic.
• Solid Software Development and Programming abilities with experience in modern languages and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns for building maintainable and scalable systems.
• Understanding of Front-End Development concepts to collaborate effectively on end-to-end solutions.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of RESTful services, microservices, and integration with third-party APIs.
• Awareness of application security best practices, performance tuning, and error handling.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
