About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Golang Developer to design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems in a modern cloud-native, microservices-based environment. You will own the design and development of RESTful APIs, containerized services, and deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift, working closely with architecture and DevOps teams.


What you will do:

  • Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Golang.
  • Build and maintain enterprise-grade microservices architectures.
  • Develop and manage event-driven applications using Kafka or similar Pub/Sub systems.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, SSO).
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.
  • Design, integrate, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed and production environments.


Core skills and experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.
  • Experience building REST APIs and web services.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or other Pub/Sub frameworks.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous processing and event-driven system design.
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Strong understanding of secure API design and authentication workflows.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Ability to design efficient data models and optimize queries.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput applications.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with service mesh, observability tooling, and API gateways.
  • Experience in OpenShift-based enterprise environments.
  • Strong grasp of performance optimization and concurrency in Golang (goroutines, channels, etc.).
