Company Description Refill is an, all-in-one prescribing platform designed for med spas, telehealth companies, and growth-focused clinics seeking to scale with less administrative work. The platform connects providers to a network of LegitScript-compliant pharmacies, enabling one-click prescribing, automated refills, and streamlined regulatory compliance in all 50 states. Providers use Refill to manage large patient volumes, simplify GLP-1 and peptide prescribing, track medical necessity, and access competitive compound pricing without multiple systems.


Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will work full time Remote, building and scaling core platform services that support high-volume prescribing workflows.


Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing back-end systems, APIs, and integrations with pharmacy and clinical partners, as well as improving performance, reliability, and security across the stack. The role involves deeply understanding the product vision and being able to execute on that vision, create a beautiful design, and meet regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Proficiency in Full-stack Web Development and Systems Design, with experience building scalable, secure web services.
  • Advanced Programming skills in modern languages (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Go, Python, or similar), with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel, or Azure), relational and/or NoSQL databases, and minor Dev Ops experience.
  • Background in security, compliance, or regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives, handle a high amount of ambiguity, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees are a plus.
